Thanks for the info but after getting info from so many saying that the Bob G4HFQ, http://www.g4hfq.co.uk for $15 software was wonderful I contacted Bob & had a very nice email chat with him. he also pointed me to an eBay listing I had seen before for the cable:

- $13.39 + $1.99 shipping = $15.38
Time left: 28d

and since I had a few eBay bucks I got it to just below $10 so total cost was ~ $25 for software & cable.

Bob is retired & is doing this to help ends meet, been there just not the retired part.

I wonder if we can now transfer data files from one software package to the other?
