Come one, come all!

The Frederick Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce a presentation  
by Robert Bruninga
WB4APR (the father of APRS), next Monday, Aug 17, from 7 PM to 9 PM at  
the Amvets Post 2,
702 East South St., Frederick. Bob's talk will be on APRS and his work  
with amateur radio
satellites. He is a fascinating speaker and his talks are always  well  
attended by the
ham community. Plan to arrive early for a good seat.

This presentation is open to the entire amateur radio community and is  
free of charge, so
spread the word around. Parking is located on the side of the building  
and look for the
"FARC" signs that will lead you to the rear auditorium. Thanks go to  
Dick Hayman WN3R for
arranging for Bob to talk to us, and Amvets Post 2 for the generous  
use of their
facilities for this event.
