Greetings All;

Tony KF3AK and I were able to successfully exchange EasyPal pictures and text
through the 145.410 Repeater this evening. These good results mean we've just
gained the ability to easily exchange high resolution digital color pictures
and text documents using an error correcting format. And the software to
accomplish this is free! As you might be able to tell, I'm just a little
excited about this.

EasyPal is also a FUN mode to play with as well, on both HF and VHF. There have
been gatherings on 14.233 USB and 7.183 LSB, especially on weekends, with
pictures being exchanged for hours. If you haven't yet gotten a sound card
interface for your computer, I really encourage you to get one (easy to build;
cheap to buy) and get started.
