How much is our safety worth? We cleared over $1500 on the tailgate fest.
Surely the safety of our comrads-in-arms is worth the $120. Think of how
much it would save in leagal expenses should there be an accident (G-d
forbid).

Information Only

The ARRL is offering safety orange mesh "road worker" type vests with a
yellow reflective strip on the the back lettered with "Amateur Radio
Communications". The price is $9.95. The club may want to consider
purchasing a dozen or so of these vests for working special events, ARES,
etc., or anywhere that club members are exposed to vehicular traffic.
