Hi Travers and group;

My first transceiver was a Lafeyette Comstat 25B with
"range boost" audio equalization of some type.

CB was my gateway into Amateur Radio, and of course I
still have two CB walkie talkes, two SSB / CB radios
and a few Magnetic Mount CB antennas (which work GREAT
on 10 meters) around.

I also know of a couple of us hams that routinely
recruit the top notch CB operators to upgrade and join
our ranks. Hope you will help us out on that mission.

73,

Jim   WX3B
