Greetings Travers;

Your CB net sounds like fun! Most hams won't admit it, but they probably
have a CB set stashed away somewhere, from the time they first started
playing with radios on the Citizen's Band.  (I have a couple sets myself)

FYI -- Don't be disappointed if you don't hear anyone on 145.410 saying
hello to you. It would be considered a 1 way transmission, which isn't
legal.

I almost forgot,

I'll be monitoring the 2 meter CCARC repeater (145.410) on my scanner in
case someone wants to say something to me, try some things, etc...  I
don't have a license yet so I can't talk back.  I'll be communicating on
CB channel 40 at 9 PM tonight (Wednesday).
