Okay,

I'm quite new at this still. What can us new HAMs look forward to during
Field Day 2002? In what areas can we participate or should we just come by
to observe? Can someone please give us the "who, what, where, when, why,
and how" about this event? (I'm sure I'm not the only new HAM with these
kinds of questions...)

Are there any fees involved?

Is this a training event, a DX contest, or both?

Is it an overnight event?

What would we need to bring with us (food, shelter, clothing, HAM gear)?

Is it colder in New York than it is in the summer?

How may animals of each species did Moses take on board the ark with him?
(None! Moses didn't have an ark, Noah did.)

I know it involves HAMs from all over the world, but how many HAMS from our
club usually get involved in this? Will the new HAMs be made to feel
welcome or like outsiders?

Any help/info posted here would be most appreciated.

(Sorry if I got carried away a little.),
Keith Krichinsky, KB3HHK
