Hi Abe! It is good to hear from you.
Yes, there are several locations with-in Calvert County that qualify as parks for POTA. The initial list is just the beginning. As folks grow more accustom to the what, when, where, why, and how of POTA the list will expand.
POTA is a excellent opportunity to improve amateur radio skill sets, encourage others to join amateur radio and get some much needed fresh air!
We look forward to seeing you at the meetings and activations.

Note that the parking lots are not in the Natural area. I am not sure if the pavilions are either.

This year CARA will activate six (6) POTA qualified parks within Calvert County. Amateurs, or even those interested in Amateur radio are encourage to join the fun.
