Yes, there are several locations with-in Calvert County that qualify as parks for POTA. The initial list is just the beginning. As folks grow more accustom to the what, when, where, why, and how of POTA the list will expand.

POTA is a excellent opportunity to improve amateur radio skill sets, encourage others to join amateur radio and get some much needed fresh air!

We look forward to seeing you at the meetings and activations.

If you activate at Calvert Cliffs you can go for a twofer if you activate within Calvert Cliffs Natural area

Note that the parking lots are not in the Natural area. I am not sure if the pavilions are either. 

If you want to make it a Fiver you would have to go more portable and hike the 2 miles out to the beach then you could also activate the water trails
