[K3CAL] September meeting

Thanks for your confidence in me that you wanted me to be your interim President to fill out the year.  I do not wish to be President next year but am happy to continue on the Board and continue with public relations/public information and helping lead activities as I am able.  And congratulations and thanks for the other electees for volunteering to keep our club moving ahead.  


I would like to have everyone think ahead of the September meeting about what you want from our club.  At the meeting, I will lead an informal survey
about our interests/goals/activities that we want to participate in over the next year or so.  And think of topics that you would like presented at our meetings with a suggested presenter if possible.  If you will not be at the meeting, please email me at president at k3cal.org with your interests and I'll add them to the info gathered at the meeting.  You may think outside the box, like field trips or going to a dinner theater or whatever.



I really would like for someone to step up soon to be the lead contact for the Christmas Party.  I will tell you that it is not a hard job and I'll give you all the help you want.  



I am sorry about the delay in responding regarding the special election, I am currently on vacation in Canada with sporadic internet and phone service.  I will be home soon after Labor Day.
