No, the TL-922 is a tube amplifier built by Kenwood. The TL-933 is a 1kW
solid-state amplifier built by JRC for Kenwood. It is a variant of the
JRL-3000F, which JRC has shelved prior to product release.

Hi Adam,
Was that the TL922A?  Mine was purchased in 1985 and is still going strong
with the original tubes.  Have had an hour meter on the unit since day one
and only have 600 hours on it.  No problems as yet.  Were they always built
by JRC?
