[JRC] Here is a serious problem

Here is my comment on this subject.

I own a JST-145 from which the power suply unit does not work anymore.
There is no service here in The Netherlands. The only equippment 
serviced by JRC Amsterdam is nautical equippment.
The latest thing they have told me is that I have to send the pc-board 
to Japan and then JRC can see if they can fix it. There is no stock on 
this pcb. I bought my rig in 1997 so I think it is  very strange that 
JRC does not have any spareparts as companies usualy have to keep 
service spareparts for 10 years.
 From what I have seen on the refelctors the power supply is the circuit 
that brakes down a lot.
So I think it is a very goor idea to start this new group.
