[JRC] A couple questions

Hello Phil,

The NRD-525 extender boards are long gone unless you are
lucky enough to find someone who will let you borrow a
set.

The connectors were made by Hirose Electronics. If you
look carefully you may see a tiny "HR" in the plastic.
The connectors were, if memory serves me correctly, part
of the Hirose PCN6 series which, I think, are now obsolete. The
NRD-525 uses, mostly, 22 pin, 2.5mm width.

I don't know what JRC uses in the NRD-545 but it may be that
JRC may have stock of the connectors that could be used
to build an extender board.

Is the TCXO properly adjusted? Does it zero beat on WWV (15mc)
when warmed up (15 mins). If you have a small thin screwdriver
tip (ceramic screwdriver is best) it is possible to adjust that TCXO.

Best regards,

Paul Bigelow
