[Johnson] Ranger VFO Access Question

This all reminds me of my many years as a computer programmer. In spite
of all evidence to the contrary, I believed (and, sadly, still believe)
there was a simple and elegant solution to every problem. Many times I
spent more time looking for the elegant solution when simple drudgery
would have been a lot faster and cleaner.

I've removed the whole VFO box in my Ranger a number of times. Mine has
the keyer chassis and it seems to me that it's just easier to remove the
whole VFO enclosure and have access to the entire innards.

Yes, I did forget and break the phenolic in the coupling once. It's now
repaired with a piece of one of those sample credit cards we used to get
in the mail and the smallest hardware the Tru-Value had - probably #8.

The VFO cover nuts and the VFO coupling set screw are (relatively)
easily accessible from under the chassis.
