The "fix" is to install a 3-wire power cord and connect the green wire to the chassis.  Also, replace the bypass capacitors that go from each side of the AC line to the chassis.  In fact, you can usually remove these capacitors completely without any problems.

The Adventurer that I have is reading 110 volts from the chassis to electrical ground, have tried reversing the power plug with the same results.
