Hi, Larry,
I've read most of the replies you received for using the Valiant and T-Bolt
and here's what I did. I used my Viking Navigator to drive the T-Bolt. Of
course I had to build an outboard plate modulator for the Navigator but it
works great and I didn't need any attenuators in line. I used the resister
input to the amplifier and set it up with a scope. I get about 350 watts
resting carrier and it peaks at about 800 watts with minimal distortion.
A little work but the result made it worth the while. Now I'm doodling
putting the T-Bolt on 160!!!
Have fun and 73,
Ed, KØBKA
