Dear Ranger Ops
Just a suggestion on what / how to configure the PTT circuit. I use only 12v
relay (presently bought from Radio Shack), 4 pole dbl throw small but big
enuf for Ranger power. Two poles for Ranger mods per book, 3rd for breaking
the modulator screen voltage while in standby. This screen switching shuts
down the modulators therefore, saving power & the modulator tubes. Twelve
volts can be easily derived from a small circuit that I will give you if you
email me. The object of this mod is to eliminate the complication & HI
VOLTAGE on the key line.
