  code has never kept but a very few from getting a ticket. i got my 45 yrs 
ago at age 15 passed sending and receiving 13wpm. i have held over 50 
class's my youngest to pass was 7 yr old girl my oldest was a 90 yr old 
man. both passed the 5 wpm code. They dropped the code from 13 wpm and 20 
wpm to 5 wpm. if you can not spend the time to pass 5 wpm muilti guess . We 
do not need them in the hobby. IMHO. jezzzz you do not even have to copy it 
or send it just guess at what was sent. removing code is the same as giving 
it away. no wonder the phone bands are a mess with LID's
