[Johnson] 866/3B28 Solid State Replacements

I like running 836's or 1616's in place of the 866's in my Valiant and
Globe King.  These are high-vacuum equivalents of the 866 which work fine
in these applications.  The advantage is a higher voltage drop across the
tube which brings the high voltage back to where it was designed to be
with today's higher line voltages and gives a slightly "softer start"
when you flip on the high voltage.  Of course, there's still filament
current being drawn but at the relatively low high voltage in the
Valiant, I wouldn't think the filament winding insulation would be being
stressed that much.  No problems here yet anyway!
