[Johnson] EFJ Courier

Hi gang

I'm about to button up a Courier restoration and have a question.  My Courier 
has a perforated shield between the HV and RF sections on top of the chassis. 
 I looked at the pictures in the original manual and this shield is not 
there.  I also looked at a picture of the insides of another Courier and the 
screen was present.  I can see the possibility of needing the shield, but 
wonder out loud if it was a factory mod or maybe came on all the Couriers.  
There were so few manufactured, I'm not sure this information even exists.

Any help or comments?
