Thank you for your response. I fired off that comment without
thinking first. I tend to do that at times. My apologies.
You are correct. Most everyone has access to a microphone for SSB and many
of the people who use FTx probably use other digital modes too. There may
be some that, for whatever reason, cannot use a microphone or CW key but if
they can use a keyboard for FTx, they should be able to use it for those
other digital modes (including CW).
The other thing I didn't think about is that since it is not practical to
try and make FTx logs and exchanges conform to the ILQP rules, it's not a
matter of FTx being excluded. FTx just isn't compatible. I see that now and
again, I apologize for my failure to think before I acted.
