[ILQSO] Your favorite state QSO Party?

Steve:

If you want four QSL's from the four counties where N9Q operated in
2006, just tell me and I'll make four individual QSL's. It costs me a
terribly high price of 14¢ per card at my local Meijer Photo counter, so
I might have to eat beans instead of my usual filet mignon for dinner a
few days, but it's worth it. :)

I'll even fudge the time by a few seconds if needed.

One thing which irked me a bit was that I stated in the Special Events
section, and in this reflector, that folks who wanted a QSL should send
a #10 or larger SASE, and many sent a #6¾ SASE, into which my special
QSL's wouldn't fit. I just addressed a #10 envelope, put my own stamp
on it, and sent the requested QSL.

I operated my first ILQP because I thought it would be fun operating
from four counties. I had lots of fun even though I practically froze
because I didn't come prepared for deep winter in October! :)

I'll be back this year, and I'll bring long john's and a tent, along
with my usual dining canopy to be prepared for all kinds of weather. :)

IMHO the contest is to serve those who participate in it. And, I'd say
that most folks would comply with any request for multiple QSL's for the
multiple contacts shown in the ILQP log, so the county hunters shouldn't
have a complaint.
