[ILQSO] Clarification of Classifications

Hi, Sam.

I'll chime in even though W9DY already hit the nail on the head. :-)  
If the entire station is capable of operating in motion, then you're in 
the mobile category. If you're operating from inside the vehicle but 
are using a dipole tossed up in the trees, you're portable. If you're 
operating that way but are not on a county line, then you're a fixed 
station (but could still sign /p if you wish to). We do that because 
stations that *are* on a county line have a 2x/3x/4x scoring advantage 
over you, so it seems fairest to consider you a fixed station.

If we haven't covered your particular situation, please say so and I'll 
try to clarify it.

In any event, it's good to hear that you're considering a portable or 
mobile operation!
