[ILQSO] IQP thoughts

Hi Chuck,
I couldn't agree more. For many years, I have wondered (and asked) why
we couldn't change the starting time to 1700Z so the IQP would end at 0100Z.
When I used to go /m in this party, that late hour made it tough if you
weren't close to home at the end. If you had to get up early to work the
next morning....bummer! Agreed, that last hour is pretty much wasted...
Have always thought that 8-cty extra multiplier should be for out of
state and /m only. Why someone hasn't just fired up on 2 meters (or all
bands for that matter) in say Cook county and reaped many, many extras mults
is beyond me. Maybe if you do as you suggest about getting the no code 2
meter gang out, it will prove a point.
Lastly, I also want to thank the RAMS gang and Jim, N9JF for the hours
they all put into the IQP this year...... good job guys!
73.........Jim K9WA
