If you're scouting for a county line operating location for next year,
check out this link-

This resource combines online mapping with high res satellite photography.
You can literally look for that wide spot in the road or see how close the
power lines are. Too bad the Iraqis and North Koreans can access this site.
For those who find the Illinois Atlas & Gazetteer a bit imprecise, there is
always the Census Bureau's listing of definitive county boundaries-
http://www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/index.html
You'll need your GPS and a PhD. in Geography, however, to make sense out
this data.
ILQSO was a lot of fun this year. It's nice to have cooperation from the
progagation spirits.
