Also, while the guys in Chicago are moving locals to six meters, you can
hunt down another mobile for an extra mult or two. I'll bet you make more
points by your maneuver than they do by theirs.

Negative!

Look: you work one guy, 2-160, both modes. you have a total of 24 points plus
TWO mults. Assuming you are doing well, have 200 CW Q's & 200 SSB Q's, & 120
mults watch this,

600 Q points x 120 mults = 72,000 points

Take that ONE guy 3 mins, abt how long it took me yesterday, & score goes to
this:
(16 total Q's, 2 mults!)

624 Q points x 122 mults=76,128 points. Doubt if I could have found Putnam
Co in 3 min of S&P, but if I did, it would look like this: assuming a cw Q,
less if it was ssb!

602 Q pts x 121 mults = 72,842 points. Difference of 3286 POINTS! What is
that? 5%???

NOW, take 5 of your pals from a local club. They can radiate something on 160
with a g5rv, & it goes like this: 720 Q pts x 130 mults (10 mults!!) = 93600
POINTS!

Assume I am a lucky guy. I find 5 new counties in the time (maybe 10 total
mins),which we all know wouldn't happen, it would look like this: 610 Q pts
x 125 mults = 76250 POINTS.

Darn big difference between 93k & 76k, isn't it??? Now, lets get real. In 10
min, maybe I find 2 new mults. It really looks like this: 604 Q pts x 122
mults = 73,444 pts vs 93,600 pts.

Hmmmm.

Not a statement, just an observation!

What a blast yesterday, most fun I've had in 8 hours in recent memory!

73,Chuck
