[ILHam] York Radio Club Conducts Free Amateur Radio Class

The York Radio Club will conduct a free two-day amateur radio class from 
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
on Saturday, October 23, and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00  p.m. on Sunday, October 
24, 2004.

Participants who pass the FCC test on Sunday will receive an amateur radio 
license.

The class will be held at the Elmhurst Fire Station #1, 404 North York 
Street, in Elmhurst,
Illinois.  This is a free event and is open to the public.

Participants are encouraged to become familiar with “Now You’re Talking,” 
published by the
American Radio Relay League before the class.
