Dear ARES Members and Friends:

Please join us for the Cook County ARES Net, this
Wednesday, at 2100, on the SARA Repeater (146.88 R-600
PL107.2).  All amateurs with an interest in emergency
and public service communications are invited to
participate.  You need not be a member of ARES, the
ARRL, or any other organization to check in, and we
welcome hams from all counties, not just Cook.

I'd like to extend a big THANK YOU to those who
participated in Cook County's part of the statwide ARES
drill last Sunday.  Also, I'd like to recognize the
hard work of Milan Bagel K9HDX, an Official Emergency
Station, who ran the simplex session of our Cook County
net and acted as liaison to the HF net.
