[ICOM] IC-7610 VOX through ACC

Hi,

Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction.

I am helping a friend configure a couple of IC-7610's. As a part of that 
we wish to feed audio into the remote ACC1 connectors, in fact from a 
microham DXP. As it is set now I can see the receive audio from the 7610 
through the DXP and to the PC, no problem. On transmit I have audio from 
the PC through the DXP and into the radio. If I press the transmit 
button on the front panel I have transmit audio and DATA OFF MOD is set 
to MIC,ACC but VOX does not seem to work. VOX works fine with a 
microphonebut no amount of audio into the ACC port seems to trigger the 
VOX. What have  I not set right?
