[ICOM] BNC spanner wrench

Hi Karl,

Notice the end on that tool. It is for removing a BNC plug from a socket.
Not the nut. As a note though, these are the only type of tools that kept
showing up when I did a search.

Ron,

I will take a look into Snap-On. We had Snap-On as our tool distributor at
the service center, but I am sure I bought the sockets at an Electronics
Store in Portland in the late 60s before going in the Navy. The last time I
saw the silly things was before moving to the Seattle area in 1988.

So far, still searching.

Thanks,

Larry

A quick google search came up with this item:

Thanks, but I tried that. I could not hold it in the slot and attempt to
turn the nut. It just slipped out. This was after breaking the tips on my
long needle nose.

You might try a snap ring pliers set available at Menards / Home Depot /
etc.

They normally have internal and external (compression vs expansion) types.

The tips/blades are either straight or angled at 45 or 90 degrees.

A jeweler's watch bezel nut tool may also work, but not as common and likely
not deep enough reach.
