[ICOM] re xmit problem with IC-745

Fern,

Check the 8 volts regulator and make sure its 8 Volts DC. I have over 
the years seen the IC-745 do strange things like yours and it was the 8 
volt supply.
Its the little card under the bottom cover along the side. Generally R1 
changes value, I seem to remember it being 4.7 ohms at 1/8 watt. 
Increase the wattage to 1/2 watts if you replace it.
