[ICOM] IC 756PROII value?

I have no immediate personal experience concerning either ProII or ProIII,
but with the introduction of the IC-7600 it is obvious from any reading of
the listings that whatever market there WAS fore those radios has
dropped markedly.

Adam's figures re ProII seem to me as positive as one might get for that
radio, and
if you haven't noticed, almost all radio resale prices of 6 months or a
year ago are
right now much higher than what is being sold today.

One tool that you might use is to go www.eham.net--

	http://www.eham.net/classifieds/

and when you get there click on "search", type in ProII, and make sure
you click on "include sold listings."
Of course this will not give you the actual sale prices, but it WILL
give you the HIGHEST prices asked--and the actual
selling prices will invariably be well below those numbers.

Icom really destroyed the market for the Pros by bring out the 7600,
with its roofing filters. That was, of course, exactly their
intention.
