[ICOM] IC-781 CIV converter problem

Lee,
If you have an RS-232 in line tester, you can determine if the signals are
actually getting to the radio and if the radio is responding. You can also
check the signals with a scope to see if there is two way communications.
There is a small program, "Commander", that is part of the DXLabs suite. It
is a basic radio control module and will work as standalone. I use it for
testing radio control interface units. You can download it at:
http://www.dxlabsuite.com/commander/download.htm.
I would try it and it would help verify that your programs are not at fault.
There is a possibility that the radio has been glitched into neverland and a
reset may be in order.
