[ICOM] IC-208H

Mike and Mort,

I would be glad to see photos of your installs when you get a chance. 
Drilling the roof does not bother me though this vehicle has 6 air 
bags, two in front, one in each front seat and side curtains. Dang 
thing will set off the side curtains if it leans like its going to 
roll over. Toyota does give you a switch to disable that if one is 
out in the back country.
I bought a cup holder mount from Ram for the radio heads. I will 
mount some ABS plastic on it for the mounting brackets but will 
likely use double stick tape for the 208H control head.
One the 2005 RAV4 I had the HS1800/Pro mounted a lot like on the High 
Sierra web site. Dang antenna was bigger than the car ha ha. My 
bumper extends to low to mount off the side of the trailer hitch so I 
am looking at a receiver type mount. HS makes one and so can I. So I 
will likely have the IC-208H and IC-706MKII installed. No room for 
the 220 MHz or 900 MHz rig.
