Follow the audio path from the microphone. My 211 is long gone
and CCTCS was totally unused during the time I owned it.
If I recall, the owner/user/operator manual probably had a block
diagram of the rig in addition to the schematic and maybe board
layout sheet. If I recall, there is a front panel microphone
gain control on the front panel. Look for the actual deviation
potentiometer on the main board. Capacitor couple the output
of your tone board to the WIPER of that deviation pot and then
adjust the output of your tone board to get a maximum of 500 Hz
of deviation. Most modern repeaters that have electronic tone
detectors will react just fine to 250 Hz deviation or less.
Back in those days, Icom assumed/presumed a more complete
knowledge of electronics on the part of its customers and put
more stuff into the basic manual than they do these days.
