[ICOM] CT 17 interface

Pete,

Some 9 to 25 pin adaptors are not always connected internally the same.
I most always used a modem cable, it had a 9 pin on one end and a 25 pin
on the other with generally only pins 1 through 8 and 20 connected
internally.
You might google the net for a standard 9 to 25 pinout and see if your
adaptor matches.
I think it should work the only pins used within the CT-17 are as follows.
Pin 1 is Chassis / Frame Ground
Pin 2 is TXD
Pin 3 is RXD
Pin 4 is jumpered to Pin 5.... Pin 4 is request to send and Pin 5 is
clear to send
Pin 7 is Signal Ground
