A few weeks ago I picked up an IC-T81. Small and multi-band, it is replacing my
W32 as my hiking radio. In nearly new condition with all original parts and one
battery, I gave $180 for it. I am pretty happy.

Well - I like it so much (or maybe it is just new to me) that I am carrying it
more then the W32 all the time now. But this has developed into another
problem. The XYL wants to know why I get to carry a cute lightweight radio
while she still has the big heavy clunky W32? You have to understand - she is
the one that picked a 2" Titanium .357 Magnum for her carry gun. It weight
19oz. OUCH!

So how do you answer that question? Well - I need another T81 I guess. I just
missed one on E-Ham, $225 with 3 batteries.

Anyone got a T-81 that needs a good home? Clean - not beat up - working -
non-smoking home. Accessories and extra (good) batteries a +++

What do you have and what price delivered to 79922?

Thanks - y-all have a great day.

Oh - might be a pair of W-32s with several batteries for sale pretty soon - but
the kids get first shot.
