[ICOM] re problem with low transmit power on IC-2100H

    An Icom IC-2100H vhf transceiver followed me home yesterday from a swap meet. It has a problem with very very low/nil transmit power. I'm sure that the PA module is fine but the alc/dc control voltage is -0.5 vdc rather than being around +8 vdc or so. Has anyone had these symptoms and what did they find wrong? I didn't find any info on this with a google search.
