[ICOM] IC-F40G 450-500 into ham band?

The F40GS/GT and F40LT are quite different animals.

The specs I could find on the F40LT suggest there were three models, the
400-430, 430-470 and the 470-520.  Yours is 470, and will function as
far south as 440?  Or do you have the 430-470 model?

I have software and the cable I can order, for the IC-F40GS and F40GT,
its the OPC-966.
