Hi Ken,

Just confirmed from the IC-756ro service manual that the Twin PBT control is
a dual-concentric shaft encoder.

Here is the Parts List entry (PBT Board):

Ref # S1 O/N: 2250000410 Description: ENCODER TP90D96E20-30F-2178-1

Icom Parts will be able to assist you.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Subject: [ICOM] 756Pro Twin PBT

Hello, I have a 756Pro that got dropped. The Twin PBT tuning knob got broke.
The small shaft broke, leaving the large outside knob.

Is this enough info to allow anyone to provide me with details of the
repair? I would think it would require only the double varible pot
(resistor). Is this true? Is this pot availabler from Mouser? ICOM only?

Is this a fairly straight forward repart? Any *got cha's* that might pop up
as I remove the front panel to access the pot?

Thanks to all for any help,

Ken H>
