Hi Ken,

As I recall, the Twin PBT control is a dual-concentric shaft encoder. It should be available from Icom Parts in Bellevue WA.

When removing the front panel, you should handle the ribbon cables connecting the electronics behind the panel to the chassis with great care. The service manual is fairly helpful with exploded views etc.
