Yep - Read the manual - you must have an aux relay to key the amp. The
relay's contacts in the pro have welded shut and must be replaced.  You
may be lucky though and be able to tap the relay cover and unstick the
contacts.

I hooked up a SB-230 amp to my 756pro using the alc and send jacks. I
keyed the mic twice to test to see if was working. It worked both times
but now the send jack on the 756pro is dead shorted???? The amp says
keyed?  Does anybody know what happened?
