Yes...The SB230, 220 and 200 all send too much juice to the keying line. A
Drake L7 and Drake L75 do not. I don't know about the L4B or a 30L1.
On my 756Pro, I use a small 12 volt radio shack relay, and use the send jack
on the Pro to complete the coil circuit. The small 12 volt relay contacts
can handle the SB230 without a problem.

I hooked up a SB-230 amp to my 756pro using the alc and send jacks. I keyed
the mic twice to test to see if was working. It worked both times but now
the send jack on the 756pro is dead shorted???? The amp says keyed? Does
anybody know what happened?
