[ICOM] IC706 Mk2G resume on scanning

Memory scan on the IC706 mk2g.  Can it be set to STAY on memory location that has traffic?  It resumes after a few seconds even when there is traffic on the memory channel.  I do NOT want it to take off and scan again until the channel is clear.  I cannot find this option in the manual.  Both Kenwood and Yaesu function this way and this is the way I want the 706 to operate.
