[ICOM] IC-735 Intermittent Problem ??

You have a bad trimmer cap in the PLL VCO section for that band of frequencies.
I recommend you get a service manual for this radio before you start 
tearing into
it. You will need to replace all 4 trimmer caps (If they haven't 
already) with  ceramic
types.
