[ICOM] IC-735 Intermittent Problem ??

Most likely the trimmer capacitor for that band segment VCO section is the
problem. It's a known, and common problem. You must replace it, and a good
advice is to replace them all (4), because sooner or later the others will
fail. After replacement, an easy re-adjustment is in order, in the service
manual you find the instructions to do it.

Icom manual section; it's a 25 MB+ file.
