[ICOM] 706MKIIG

One more time. I am still having trouble with the ct setup to the 706MKIIG.
so here is my settings
Radio= 706MKII
CT-17
running XP on computer
radio settings from 706MKIIG menu:
CIV Address=hex 58
Baud rate = 9600
Transcieve= ON
Freq data set= OFF
Program is LOGGER32 latest ver:
Comm port= 1
not IC-735
Data bit= 8
Stop bit= 2
Parity = none
Icom hex +58
Polling= 400
.The computer shows polling in the Radio debug window, but NO freq

Am sure hoping some one can help (the ct-17 was checked on another radio at w8cnl's qth and checked good)
