[ICOM] Wishful thinking

I vote for USB2 interface and PS2 keyboard input. Perhaps some sort of
firmware that ICOM could program for the fast developing digital modes
world - things change fast here. PSK31 was the "best" thing around a month
ago, but now a new mode DominoEX has been developed which is really
something - all the advantages of many different types of digital modes and
none of the disadvantages (except that it isn't super fast). More info
here: http://www.qsl.net/zl1bpu/DOMINO
A DLL for MixW is under development - and this will be open source software
to allow for others to improve this.

Haven't heard anything, but I'd also welcome a next-generation 756ProIV with
the features Vlad mentions. I'd also like to see a built-in CI-V (like the
CT-17) or USB interface.
