Correction: The NB in the IC-756Pro series is not DSP-based. It is a
conventional analogue pulse-gate type noise blanker. 

The IC-7800 and the new IC-7000 feature a DSP-derived noise blanker. In
fact, the NB is a process in the DSP algorithm.

Arcing is a difficult type of noise to suppress, as it is not periodic in
nature. NB combined with NR can sometimes reduce it.
