[ICOM] Problem with IC-2720

Last year I was in the middle of a transmission when unknown to me the
transmitter went dead - same as your experience. After some discussing,
I took a suggestion and contacted Icom in Bellevue. They agreed to look
at it and in the end fixed it at no charge. Apparently there was an
early problem with soldering in the PA and they told me if I came up
with a problem that was covered by the warranty, they would fix it at no
charge even tho the warranty on mine was up. Give them a call and see if
that program still exists. I have a second 2720 for a base station that
is two years younger and have had no issues with that one.
